When and where will the 2017 Ball be held?
The 2017 Ball will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Gaylord Springs Club House across from the Opryland Resort complex.   

Is there a formal invitation coming?
Formal invitations are mailed the last week of October.  

I would like to receive an invitation.  How can I arrange that? 
Please send your name and address to and your name will be added to the mailing list.

Who will be the guest speaker?
We're working on it!  If you have ideas, send them our way (e-mail above).

Where do we park?
Free parking is available at the clubhouse.    

What is the Dress Attire for the Ball?
Students: Mess Dress, Full Dress over White or winter uniform.  Military Guests: Uniform.  Civilians: Black Tie (optional).

We are thinking of spending the night in Nashville.  Are there any special room rates for overnight stays for Ball attendees?
Information coming soon…although the Gaylord Opryland Hotel is very busy during the holidays. There are many nice hotels in the area around Briley Parkway.

I would like to make a donation to the Tennessee All Academy Parents' Club in support of their efforts to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Where do I send a check?
Checks made out to the club can be sent to PO Box 873, Brentwood, TN  37024-0873. 

Is there a live band?
​Yes!  The band this year is Cruel Shoes, so get on your dancing shoes! 

Will you provide a photographer?
Yes.  Our photographer will be available to take posed and candid shots throughout the evening.  Check out our sample photos on this site.  

Is this a buffet or a seated dinner?
This is a served dinner with dessert.  If you have specific needs, make a note on the reservation form.  

Will there be any exhibits?
Yes.  The Military Collectors will be back!

What will the Silent Auction items be?
We have a variety of Silent auction items and the list is growing daily.  Tickets, local restaurant gift cards, music memorabilia, sporting event tickets and much more. 

Is the seating assigned?
Yes. There will be tables of up to ten. You will receive a table number at our welcome table upon arrival.  The returned reservation card included in your invitation will allow you to request seating with friends and family and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.   

What is the evenings format?
6:00  Cocktail Hour with cash bar in reception area outside Symphony Ballroom 
6:50  Presentation of Colors
7:00  Presentation followed by formal toasts
7:30  Dinner, Cash Bar, and Dancing.   We plan to close the auction about 9PM.
